A former pageant queen is miraculously getting a second likelihood at life.
Barbara Guthrie Lay, topped Miss Virginia in 1958, was pronounced useless by hospital employees on Dec. 22 after battling the coronavirus however minutes later was discovered to have a pulse once more, in response to native information channel WSET.
The 82-year-old resident of Roswell, Ga., who had been admitted to the hospital two days prior with hassle respiratory, has since been moved from the ICU to a daily hospital room amid her continued restoration.
